Dr. Charles E. Gregory

A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corp at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He received his endodontic training at Indiana University School of Dentistry and the V.A. Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He has been in the practice of endodontics with Tissura, Gregory and Shapiro, PC since his graduation from Indiana University.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, the Northern District Dental Society, the Harry J. Healy Study Club and Past President of the Georgia Association of Endodontics.

Dr. Gregory and his wife Barbara enjoy thoroughbred Horse racing, playing tennis and vacationing in Florida with their children and grandson Jake.

Dr. Richard S. Shapiro

A graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, he then served as a Captain in the U. S. Army Dental Corp at Ft. Jackson, S.C. His endodontic training took place at Emory University School of Dentistry and the V.A. Hospital Atlanta. Following completion of his formal program, he was a part time instructor at the Emory University Dental School.

He has been an endodontist with Tissura, Gregory & Shapiro, PC since his graduation.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Georgia Association of Endodontists, the Northern District Dental Society, the Hinman Dental Society and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. He served as International President (2002) of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Shapiro provides endodontic care at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic, as a volunteer. For nearly one hundred years the Ben Massell Dental Clinic has been providing comprehensive care for those in need in our community.

He and his family love to travel. Recently his most memorable trip was an African safari to Tanzania and Kenya. A truly unique experience to see animals and the environment interact. He and his wife have been actively involved in Greyhound rescue for many years.

Relaxation includes watching many of our local sport teams, and when time allows, playing golf and adding travel to golf, making the game that much more exciting.
